Orange Green Spider - One of a Kind (SC-015)
This "One of a Kind" globe has a very wide range of effects from Low to High power. On Low the glowing orange central electrode spawns thin Green tendrils which turn back into Orange as they extend and slowly wave. As the power is increased these vivid tendrils multiply and lengthen forming orange "flowers" where the streamers touch the glass. Increased power produces a riot of movement and colors. Putting a hand to the glass causes the streamers to consolidate into fewer more intense Green and Orange colors. This is a very striking and beautiful globe at every power setting and can be dialed in to set the mood for the room.
The globe has a brass plaque with the number SC-015
I probably got the most boring set of colors of all the assorted globes demonstrated on the page, and I still couldn't be happier. Even on the lowest power setting possible, I could still stare into it for hours. I absolutely love this thing. Something to note is that it does make a bit of noise on higher power, but it's nothing major. As long as you don't mind that, this is absolutely worth your money, and the best part is that you never know which one you'll get!
Thank you for the opportunity to own one of these! This is a superior model. 3 different and very well-established gases contained within one globe for a mesmerizing tri-colored effect. Blemish was not noticeable. Would definitely recommend this model. A great way to own one wonder in the universe...
I really like it, a lot. Saw one on TV in the 1980's, always in the back of my mind to get a real one. This is a real one. and awesome. Supah...
Awesome! Great quality! Will be buying some more soon
I have been fascinated with plasma globes since childhood and this globe is fantastic!
I've always been fascinated by plasma globes as a kid. Once I discovered Aurora's website, I knew I had to have one. I was appreciative that Aurora offers "budget" models for people like me who can't afford a $500 plasma globe.
That being said, the only thing budget about this product is the price. The build quality feels great, and the glass is clearly much thicker and more robust than the cheap Chinese plasma globes you see at the mall.
I decided to go with the assorted plasma globe because I valued the uniqueness of the globe and the "randomness" honestly added to the thrill. I'm very happy with the color I ended up with. The tendrils are a whitish blue with pink contact on the glass. It looks magical in the dark.
Great surprise! Very pleased with my assorted Jr Pro Plasma Globe! Aurora Plasma Design never disappoins. Thanks again!
