“Phoenix Rising Series III” Plasma Globe SC-054 Small Scratches & Tiny Flecks

This is a beautiful example of our Phoenix Rising 15" Globes.

Unfortunately, careless handling during assembly caused the globe to be scratched and rinsing the globe before filling left a few tiny specs of white lint inside the glass.  Neither of these issues affect the performance of longevity of the globe.  Both issues are virtually invisible unless one goes hunting for them in bright lighting.  On the other hand they offer big savings over our regular globes.

About Our “Phoenix Rising Series III” Plasma Globe

This is the third series of our “Phoenix Rising” globe. This new series will be outfitted with a brass plaque identifying the globe as “Special Collection #54”.

The “Phoenix Rising” Plasma Globe features white plasma tendrils with orange-red tips, emanating from an orange-red electrode. On a low-power setting, small plasma tendrils swirl around the center of the globe with a gentle flickering motion, but once you turn the power up the plasma streams become very active, with each tendril splitting into several energized fingers towards the tips. This gas mixture also displays an interesting effect when your hand touches the glass, sending out little fingers of plasma along the glass from the edges of your hands.

The orange and white color of the “Phoenix Rising” plasma globe are a result of a unique blend of gasses, and are not available from any other consumer plasma globe manufacturer. We have produced “Phoenix Rising” in a series of 100. Each globe will be outfitted with a brass plaque that identifies the globe’s place in the series of 100 and will be sold sequentially until the series is gone.
